Quartile rating: 4.5/10 · 1 rating
Two teenage yoga enthusiasts team up with a legendary man-hunter to battle with an ancient evil presence that is threatening their major party plans.
Yoga Hosers is a deeply flawed vanity project from Kevin Smith that squanders a quirky premise. The plot is virtually nonexistent — a threadbare, incoherent mash-up of Nazi bratwurst monsters and teenage comedy that never builds into anything coherent or satisfying. The ending fizzles out with no real payoff. Acting is middling, with Harley Quinn Smith and Lily-Rose Depp being charming enough but not given material to work with, while Johnny Depp's cameo feels indulgent. Cinematography is functional at best. The only genuine credit is Novelty — the sheer absurdity of the concept (tiny Nazi sausage creatures vs. Canadian teenage yogis) is undeniably singular and weird enough to stand apart from typical horror-comedies, even if the execution fails to capitalize on it.
