With school out for the summer, The Littles are vacationing in a cabin by the lake, and Stuart is so excited he could burst! But when Snowbell the cat is captured by a mean-spirited creature known simply as the Beast, it's up to Stuart and a skunk named Reeko to rescue him and a few other friends.
Stuart Little 3 is a straight-to-TV third installment that offers little beyond a formulaic wilderness adventure with minimal stakes. The plot retreads familiar ground with a predictable rescue mission and cookie-cutter antagonist. Acting is serviceable at best for a TV movie aimed at young children. Cinematography is flat and budget-constrained, consistent with a direct-to-video production. Novelty scores very low as it recycles the franchise's established premise without adding anything distinctive or memorable. The ending resolves predictably with no surprises.
