Derek and Hansel are modelling again when an opposing company attempts to take them out from the business.
Zoolander 2 is widely regarded as a disappointing sequel that fails to recapture the magic of the original. The plot is thin and incoherent, relying on celebrity cameos and recycled jokes rather than genuine comedic invention. The acting is serviceable but the cast seems adrift without a strong script to anchor them. Cinematography is competent but unremarkable for a comedy of this type. Novelty suffers because the film is largely a rehash of the original's premise and gags without the freshness that made the first film work. The ending is particularly weak, failing to deliver a satisfying payoff to an already meandering story.
