Franck and his girlfriend Sonya, plus some of their friends go on holiday in Brazil. Franck, his friends, two girls and Sonya's grandmother leave to visit a cave, but everything goes wrong and their crazy adventures begin.
Babysitting 2 is a largely formulaic sequel that recycles the found-footage comedy premise of the original, transplanting it to Brazil without adding much freshness. The plot is thin and episodic, stringing together slapstick set pieces rather than building genuine narrative momentum. Acting is serviceable from the returning cast but rarely rises above broad comedic mugging. The found-footage cinematography is intentionally rough, which suits the genre but offers little visual distinction. Novelty scores very low as this is a by-the-numbers sequel that retreads the same formula in a new location — the Brazilian setting is the only real change. The ending wraps things up predictably without much payoff.
