An untraceable group of elite bank robbers is chased by a suicidal FBI agent who uncovers a deeper purpose behind the robbery-homicides.
Marauders is a generic mid-tier crime thriller that fails to distinguish itself in any meaningful way. The plot starts with an intriguing premise but devolves into convoluted, predictable twists. The acting is unremarkable despite a cast that includes Bruce Willis, who appears disengaged and underused. Cinematography is the one relative bright spot, with competent action staging and decent visual grit appropriate for the Cincinnati setting. Novelty is low — the film recycles familiar heist-thriller tropes without adding a distinctive voice or fresh angle. The ending attempts a dramatic revelation but lands weakly, feeling rushed and unearned.
