Two teen rival babysitters, Jenny and Lola, team up to hunt down one of their kids who accidentally ran away into the big city without any supervision.
This Disney Channel remake of the 1987 classic is a competent but largely formulaic TV movie. The dual-babysitter twist adds a minor update but the film follows the same basic city-adventure structure as the original without significantly reimagining it. Acting from the young cast is energetic and charming for the target demographic, elevating the material somewhat. Cinematography is functional TV-movie fare with little visual ambition. The ending wraps up predictably but satisfyingly for family audiences. Novelty is low given it is a straightforward remake with only surface-level modernization.
