In order to make his little sick brother's dream come true, Leo and his best mates organize a fake score...but on the d day, they make a mistake and the fake score becomes a real hold up.Here starts the extraordinary adventure of PUBLIC Amis.
Public Friends is a French comedy with a familiar premise—well-meaning amateurs stumbling into a real crime—that doesn't bring much new to the genre. The plot leans on stock tropes (sick sibling motivation, bungled heist escalation) without subverting or elevating them meaningfully. The acting is competent and carries some warmth, which gives the film its modest charm. Cinematography is functional but unremarkable for a mid-budget French comedy. Novelty is low as the 'fake heist gone real' concept is well-worn territory and the execution doesn't distinguish itself. The ending resolves things with adequate emotional payoff for its modest ambitions.
