A paraplegic computer engineer who moves in a wheelchair and works in his basement starts hearing noises and voices of bank-robbers.
At the End of the Tunnel is a competent Argentine thriller with a clever premise — a wheelchair-bound man in his basement unwittingly discovers a bank robbery tunnel. The plot is reasonably engaging with solid twists, the acting is credible without being remarkable, and the cinematography is functional but not distinguished. It earns modest marks for novelty given its unusual protagonist setup and claustrophobic tension, but remains largely within genre conventions. The ending delivers a satisfying payoff without being truly surprising. Overall a solid mid-tier thriller that slightly overachieves its modest budget.
