The ongoing war between the canine and feline species is put on hold when they join forces to thwart a rogue cat spy with her own sinister plans for conquest.
A formulaic sequel that recycles the spy-spoof premise of the original with little freshness. The plot is predictable and by-the-numbers, the live-action/CGI hybrid looks cheap even for its era, and the humor rarely lands beyond the youngest viewers. The novelty of cats and dogs as secret agents was already spent in the first film, and this entry adds little new to the concept. Acting (voice and live-action) is passable but unremarkable, and the ending resolves exactly as expected with no surprises.
