Batman and Nightwing are forced to team with the Joker's sometimes-girlfriend Harley Quinn to stop a global threat brought about by Poison Ivy and Jason Woodrue, the Floronic Man.
Batman and Harley Quinn is a DCAU-adjacent animated film that leans heavily into comedy and fan service, particularly around Harley's character. The plot is fairly thin and formulaic — a world-ending ecological threat stopped by an unlikely team-up — with little narrative depth or surprise. The voice acting is competent and Melissa Rauch brings energy to Harley, though the performances are inconsistent. The animation style deliberately evokes the classic Batman: The Animated Series aesthetic, which is nostalgic but not particularly innovative visually. Novelty is low; the film recycles familiar villain dynamics and a standard save-the-world structure, and while the Harley pairing adds some freshness, it's not enough to distinguish the film meaningfully. The ending resolves things abruptly and unsatisfyingly, feeling rushed rather than earned.
