Emmy-winning comedian Dana Carvey blends pitch-perfect tales on big personalities with so-true-it-hurts stories from his life as a dad of millennials.
A solid but unremarkable stand-up special from Dana Carvey. His impressions and comedic timing remain sharp, earning a decent mark for performance, but the material covering dadhood and millennial observations is well-trodden territory in stand-up comedy. The cinematography is standard Netflix/streaming special fare with little visual distinction. The structure and pacing are competent but formulaic, and the ending doesn't land with any particular resonance or surprise. Novelty suffers from the generic title-drop premise and conventional special format.
