Following a wild night out with his best man, Rob Anderson wakes up to find himself naked in an elevator on the morning of his wedding day and is forced to relive the morning over and over again.
This Netflix comedy remake of a Swedish film offers a familiar time-loop premise executed in a broadly farcical, formulaic way. The plot recycled from both the original and the well-worn Groundhog Day formula offers little surprise, the comedic timing is uneven, and the acting from Marlon Wayans is energetic but one-note. Cinematography is flat and TV-movie standard. The ending resolves predictably with the expected emotional redemption arc. Nothing stands out as particularly distinctive or well-crafted across any category, placing this solidly in below-average territory across the board.
