Mom or Dad? is a French comedy with a mildly clever premise — divorcing parents each trying to offload custody onto the other — that offers some satirical bite about modern parenthood and family dysfunction. The concept has novelty in its reversal of the typical custody-battle narrative, but execution is uneven. Acting is serviceable but unremarkable, and the film doesn't make strong visual choices. The ending struggles to resolve the comic tension in a satisfying way, landing somewhere between sitcom convenience and half-hearted sentimentality.
