Ten years after an apocalyptic event left the world haunted by ghosts, Veronica 'Ronnie' Calder receives a threatening message from beyond the grave. Joining forces with a mysterious classmate, Kirk, Ronnie descends into a shadow world that blurs the bounds of the living and the dead—and begins a desperate race against time to stop a cunning killer.
I Still See You blends post-apocalyptic world-building with ghost thriller mechanics in a reasonably distinctive way — the concept of echoes (ghost remnants) lingering after a cataclysm is a fresh enough premise. However, the execution is uneven: the plot gets convoluted and loses tension in its third act, the young leads deliver competent but unremarkable performances, and the ending feels rushed and somewhat unsatisfying. Cinematography is serviceable with some atmospheric moments leveraging the ghostly aesthetic. The central premise earns modest novelty points but the film never fully capitalizes on its interesting setup.
