Christmas is on its way and with it disaster. The 92,000 responsible for manufacturing children's toys all become sick at the same time! It's a tough moment for Santa, better known as Father Christmas. He's left no choice: he must make an emergency trip to Earth with his reindeer to search for a remedy. When he arrives, he must find some allies to save the magic of Christmas.
Christmas & Co. is a pleasant but formulaic French holiday fantasy that follows well-worn Santa-in-trouble tropes without much invention. The plot device of elves falling ill and Santa visiting Earth is functional but derivative of countless Christmas films. Acting is competent for a family TV-movie level production without standout performances. Cinematography is serviceable with standard festive visuals. The ending delivers the expected warm Christmas resolution with modest charm, slightly above the average for the genre. Overall a safe, forgettable holiday offering that hits its modest marks without distinguishing itself.
