Action Point is a loosely structured comedy built around Jackass-style stunt gags set in a low-budget amusement park. The plot is thin and episodic with minimal dramatic stakes, the acting is unremarkable even from Knoxville, the cinematography is functional at best, and while the practical stunt work provides occasional visceral entertainment, the overall conception is derivative of Jackass films. The ending offers little resolution or emotional payoff. A solidly below-average film across most dimensions.
