A head injury causes a woman to develop an extraordinary amount of confidence and believe she's drop dead gorgeous.
I Feel Pretty is a broadly appealing but formulaic body-confidence comedy. Its premise has novelty on paper but executes familiar Ugly Duckling tropes with a predictable arc. Amy Schumer delivers a committed performance and the supporting cast is serviceable, but the script leans heavily on repetitive gags. Cinematography is functional and unremarkable. The ending offers a mildly satisfying message about self-acceptance but feels rushed and overly tidy.
