The Men in Black have always protected the Earth from the scum of the universe. In this new adventure, they tackle their biggest, most global threat to date: a mole in the Men in Black organization.
Men in Black: International is a largely formulaic entry in the franchise that fails to recapture the spark of the originals. The mole subplot is telegraphed early and lacks tension, and the buddy dynamic between Hemsworth and Thompson, while occasionally charming, can't compensate for a thin, predictable script. Visually it's competent but unremarkable, hitting the expected alien-world aesthetic without pushing boundaries. As a sequel it recycles familiar MIB beats without adding meaningful new mythology or a memorable villain, and the climax and resolution feel rushed and unsatisfying.
