When the eternally optimistic Poppy, queen of the Trolls, learns that the Bergens no longer have any holidays on their calendar, she enlists the help of Branch and the rest of the gang on a delightfully quirky mission to fix something that the Bergens don't think is broken.
Trolls Holiday is a cheerful but formulaic holiday special that recycles the core Trolls dynamic without adding much new. The plot is thin even by short-film standards—Poppy misreads a situation and overcomplicates it before a predictable resolution. The voice cast brings energy consistent with the original film, keeping Acting serviceable. The 3D animation retains the vibrant, candy-colored aesthetic of the feature but doesn't push it further. Novelty is low; it's a by-the-numbers holiday cash-in built on an existing property with no distinctive new angle. The ending wraps up neatly but without surprise or emotional resonance.
