For the 20th anniversary of "Titanic," James Cameron reopens the file on the disaster.
A made-for-TV documentary revisiting familiar Titanic territory for its 20th anniversary. Cameron's personal involvement and access add some value, and the underwater cinematography footage is decent, but the material largely retreads well-worn ground covered in countless prior documentaries and Cameron's own 2003 'Ghosts of the Abyss.' The talking-head format is conventional, and the ending offers little new insight or resolution. Acting is not really applicable but presenter delivery is serviceable. Novelty is low given the saturation of Titanic content.
