Quartile rating: 6.5/10 · 1 rating
The chauvinist Damien wakes up in a world where women and men have their roles reversed in society, and everything is dominated by women.
This French gender-swap comedy delivers a reasonably clever premise — reversing societal roles to expose everyday sexism — executed with decent comic energy and a committed central performance. The concept is engaging if not wholly original (it follows a well-worn satirical tradition), and the script mines its premise for solid laughs without fully exploiting its deeper satirical potential. Cinematography is functional and unremarkable, typical of French streaming comedy productions. The ending wraps up predictably, offering emotional resolution without much surprise. A solid, watchable genre effort that sits comfortably above average in its best moments but rarely transcends its premise.
