When a widow gets swindled out of insurance money, her search for answers leads to two cunning lawyers in Panama who hide cash for the superrich.
The Laundromat attempts a clever, Deadpool-style meta-narrative structure to expose the Panama Papers scandal, with Gary Oldman and Antonio Banderas delivering entertaining performances as the breaking-fourth-wall lawyers. However, the episodic anthology format feels uneven and the satirical bite never quite lands with full force. Cinematography is serviceable but unremarkable for a Netflix production. The ending's meta-twist, while bold, feels forced and undercuts the narrative momentum built up to that point. The film is distinctive in its approach but not fully successful in execution.
