The cinematography is competent and atmospheric but not especially distinctive. While the premise (wrongfully convicted man hunts real killer) is a classic template derived from the TV series, the film executes it with such precision and energy that it feels definitive rather than derivative — though it doesn't radically reinvent the chase thriller. The ending, while satisfying, is fairly conventional for the genre.
