Deadpool sees an opportunity to save the day, but it doesn't go entirely as planned.
This short film is a clever Superman-homage gag built around Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool persona, delivering solid comedic timing and meta-humor in a very compact runtime. The plot is intentionally minimal — essentially a one-joke premise about a failed heroic intervention — which limits its narrative ambition. Reynolds' physical comedy and deadpan delivery are reliably entertaining. Cinematographically it competently mimics the Superman phone-booth aesthetic for comedic effect. Its novelty comes from the witty DC-Marvel crossover parody angle and the Juggernaut cameo tease. The ending lands its punchline adequately but doesn't transcend the setup.
