Red Riding Hood is training in the group of Sister Hoods, when she and the Wolf are called to examine the sudden mysterious disappearance of Hansel and Gretel.
Hoodwinked Too! is a by-the-numbers sequel that recycles the fractured fairy tale mashup formula of its predecessor without adding much new. The plot is convoluted yet uninspired, the voice acting is serviceable but lacks the charm of the original cast (several key voices were recast), the animation is a modest step up but still below studio standards of the era, and the ending resolves things predictably. It offers little novelty beyond the familiar fairy tale remix concept already established in the first film.
