Batman, Batgirl, and Robin forge an alliance with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to fight against the Turtles' sworn enemy, The Shredder, who has apparently teamed up with Ra's Al Ghul and The League of Assassins.
Batman vs TMNT is a fun crossover that leans into its comic-book roots with solid voice acting and energetic action sequences. The plot is fairly serviceable — a team-up against Shredder and Ra's Al Ghul — hitting familiar beats without much surprise, but the character interactions between the two franchises give it charm. Cinematography is decent for a direct-to-video animated feature with punchy fight choreography. Novelty earns a modest bump for the sheer novelty of the crossover concept and its enthusiastic execution, though it doesn't reinvent either franchise. The ending wraps up cleanly if unremarkably.
