This film follows the making of Nekfeu's 3rd album, between Paris, Japan, Greece and the United States.
A music documentary following Nekfeu's album creation across multiple continents has genuine visual appeal in its globe-trotting cinematography, and the creative process angle gives it some distinctiveness within the rap/electronic music doc space. However, the narrative arc is fairly conventional for the genre—artist travels, records, reflects—and the ending doesn't deliver a particularly memorable payoff. Acting is not really applicable but the subject's on-screen presence is decent without being exceptional. Novelty is moderate: the multicultural backdrop and Nekfeu's cult following add flavor, but the format is familiar enough to keep it from standing out dramatically.
