A fairly formulaic romantic comedy with a predictable premise—confirmed bachelor meets beautiful woman, sparks fly, beliefs challenged. The Ischia setting provides some visual charm lifting cinematography slightly above average, but the plot, acting, and overall execution feel generic and by-the-numbers for the genre. Little distinguishes it from dozens of similar European romantic comedies of the era.
