Sweet Girl is a serviceable but forgettable action thriller that struggles with a twist ending that many viewers found implausible and unsatisfying rather than revelatory. The plot follows a well-worn revenge narrative without adding much fresh perspective, and the pharmaceutical conspiracy backdrop feels generic. Jason Momoa delivers a committed physical performance but the script doesn't give him much depth to work with. Cinematography is competent and functional without being distinctive. The twist, while ambitious in concept, undermines character investment and feels tonally inconsistent with what came before, dragging down the ending considerably. Overall a middling streaming action film that doesn't distinguish itself in a crowded genre.
