The Quartile Take

Wrath of Man is a solid, stylishly assembled revenge thriller from Guy Ritchie that benefits from a non-linear structure and Jason Statham's imposing presence. The plot is serviceable but fairly conventional revenge fare, elevated by its fragmented storytelling approach. Acting is competent across the board without being exceptional. Cinematography is slick and professional with a cold, steely palette that suits the tone. Novelty is moderate — the non-linear reveal structure gives it some distinction, but it's ultimately a remake (Le Convoyeur) and follows familiar genre beats. The ending delivers on the setup but doesn't transcend expectations. A well-crafted genre piece sitting comfortably above average without excelling in any single dimension.
