The billionaire is tired of the whims of his own children and decides to teach them a lesson. He announces to them that he has become bankrupt. Now spoiled teenagers will have to do what they have never done: go to work, learn to love and value life.
Spoiled Brats is a French comedy remake built on a well-worn premise — wealthy kids humbled by manufactured poverty — executed competently but without much flair. The plot hits every expected beat with little surprise, the acting is serviceable but unremarkable, and the cinematography is functional rather than distinctive. As a remake of an existing concept, its novelty is limited. The ending delivers a modestly satisfying family reconciliation that edges slightly above the formulaic middle of the film.
