Trigger Warning is a formulaic Netflix action thriller that offers little distinguishing it from dozens of similar genre entries. The plot follows a well-worn template — elite soldier returns home, uncovers corrupt conspiracy, seeks justice — with predictable beats and thin character development. Jessica Alba leads but the performances are largely serviceable at best. The cinematography is competent but unremarkable, fitting the generic Netflix action aesthetic. Novelty is genuinely low as the film recycles familiar elements without any distinctive voice, tone, or craft to set it apart. The ending resolves predictably without surprising or satisfying payoff.
