Quartile rating: 5.5/10 · 1 rating
A panicked young woman and her two best friends fly to Mexico to delete a ranting email she sent to her new boyfriend. On arrival, they run into her former beau, who soon gets caught up in their frantic scheme.
Desperados is a formulaic rom-com with a recycled 'damage control' premise that offers little originality. The plot is predictable and thin, the acting serviceable but unremarkable, the cinematography generic and TV-movie level, and the ending follows the expected beats without surprise. Nothing about the film distinguishes itself from dozens of similar productions, earning solidly below-average marks across the board.
