When the Flash finds himself dropped into the middle of World War II, he joins forces with Wonder Woman and her top-secret team known as the Justice Society of America.
Justice Society: World War II is a solid DC animated film that blends superhero action with WWII setting to decent effect. The time-travel premise gives it a fun sandbox to play in, and the Justice Society lineup offers some welcome B-tier hero spotlighting. However, the plot follows fairly predictable beats for the genre and the ending feels rushed and emotionally undercooked, failing to fully capitalize on the stakes it builds. Voice acting is competent but unremarkable, and the animation is serviceable DC animated fare without standout visual ambition. It earns its place in the Tomorrowverse but doesn't transcend the limitations of its format.
