One of the most famous Italian singers opens up about his music and his journey through love and addiction.

The Quartile Take

Ferro is a well-received Italian documentary following pop star Tiziano Ferro through candid reflections on love, identity, and addiction. The cinematography is solid but conventional for the music documentary genre, and while Ferro's personal openness gives it emotional resonance, the format itself follows a fairly standard rise-and-struggle-and-redemption arc common to celebrity docs. Acting is irrelevant in the traditional sense but Ferro's authentic self-presentation earns a passing mark. Novelty is limited as the music documentary format is well-trodden, and this doesn't radically subvert it. The ending offers emotional closure but nothing unexpected.
