After Jodi Kreyman gains popularity, her miscommunications start causing rifts with those around her and now she really needs to "stand tall".
Tall Girl 2 is a formulaic teen romance sequel that recycles the same themes and character arcs from the original with little new to offer. The plot follows predictable miscommunication tropes common to the genre, the acting is serviceable but unremarkable, and the cinematography is flat Netflix-standard television quality. As a by-the-numbers sequel to an already derivative film, it scores very low on novelty. The ending resolves conflicts in the most expected way possible, offering no surprises.
