The Curse of Bridge Hollow is a fairly formulaic family Halloween comedy that leans heavily on well-worn tropes: the uptight dad who hates holidays, the rebellious teenager, and a supernatural threat that conveniently forces them to bond. The plot offers little surprise and the resolution is predictable. Acting is serviceable with Marlon Wayans bringing some energy and charm to his role, elevating an otherwise thin script. Cinematography is competent but unremarkable for a Netflix family production. The film brings nothing particularly distinctive to the Halloween genre and follows a well-trodden formula without much creative reinvention.
