My Name Is Vendetta is a fairly by-the-numbers Italian revenge thriller that leans heavily on familiar genre tropes — the retired killer forced back into action, the tough daughter learning to fight alongside her father, and a straightforward revenge arc. The plot offers little surprise and relies on well-worn genre scaffolding. Acting is serviceable, with Stefano Accorsi giving a competent lead performance that elevates the material somewhat. Cinematography is adequately handled with decent Italian locations but nothing visually distinctive. Novelty is low given how derivative the premise is. The ending resolves predictably without subverting or adding meaningful weight to the story.
