Hiccup and Toothless go on an exciting adventure and discover an island of new dragons.
This Holiday short delivers warm character moments between Hiccup and Toothless and introduces dragon eggs as a fun seasonal hook, but the plot is fairly thin and formulaic for a holiday special. The animation quality holds up to the series standard with decent visual flair in flight sequences, and the voice cast performs reliably, but there is little here that pushes beyond what the main films established. It is a pleasant but derivative extension of the franchise rather than a distinctive creative statement.
