Mr. Magoo, a man with terrible eyesight, gets caught up in a museum robbery.
Mr. Magoo is a forgettable live-action adaptation of the classic cartoon that fails to capture the charm of the original. Leslie Nielsen's physical comedy can't elevate a thin, uninspired script built around a one-joke premise. The plot is predictable and pedestrian, the cinematography workmanlike at best, and the film offers little that distinguishes it from other late-90s cartoon-to-live-action cash grabs. It earned a Razzie for Worst Picture, and its reputation as a misfire is well-deserved across the board.
