Alex Corvis, a man wrongly executed for the murder of his girlfriend, returns from the dead and sets out to find the real killer.
The third entry in The Crow franchise follows the established formula closely — wrongfully killed protagonist resurrected by a crow to seek vengeance — offering little variation on the template set by the original. The wrongful execution angle adds a mild twist but the plot remains thin and predictable. Acting is serviceable at best, with Eric Mabius lacking the charisma of Brandon Lee and supporting performances being largely forgettable. Cinematography leans into the gothic neo-noir aesthetic competently, making use of dark urban environments and stylized visuals that are the franchise's signature, giving it a slight edge over other categories. Novelty is low given how derivative it is of the original film's beats. The ending resolves mechanically without emotional resonance, consistent with the franchise's diminishing returns by this installment.
