Moronic best friends get themselves locked inside the Bio-Dome, a science experiment, along with a group of environmental scientists for one year.

The Quartile Take

Bio-Dome is a fairly forgettable mid-90s comedy built around a thin, one-note premise. Pauly Shore and Stephen Baldwin play their usual personas with minimal range, and the script offers little beyond repetitive dumb-humor gags. The cinematography is functional at best — standard flat studio comedy work. The concept of idiots trapped in a biodome has a mild novelty hook but is squandered quickly, devolving into formulaic slacker-comedy territory. The ending is particularly weak, wrapping up without any satisfying payoff or character growth, even by the low standards the film sets for itself.
