Quartile rating: 5/10 · 1 rating
Two guys whose love lives are a wreck look forward to finding ladies on the high seas. Unfortunately, they've mistakenly been booked on a gay cruise.
Boat Trip is a broadly formulaic comedy built on a tired fish-out-of-water premise with little originality. The humor relies heavily on dated stereotypes and crude gags, the plot is predictable from start to finish, and the performances are functional at best. Cinematography is unremarkable TV-movie quality, and the ending wraps up exactly as expected. No single category stands out as genuinely strong or genuinely catastrophic — it sits firmly in below-to-average territory across the board.
