A standard Marvel 'Assembled' making-of documentary that follows the well-worn behind-the-scenes formula: cast and crew interviews, on-set footage, and production design breakdowns. The subject matter — Sam Raimi's horror-inflected multiverse film — gives it some personality, and the director's distinctive voice makes for interesting commentary. However, the format is largely indistinguishable from other entries in the Assembled series, offering little structural or presentational innovation. Acting is not really applicable but interview subjects are engaging. Cinematography is functional documentary work. It satisfies fans of the film but rarely transcends its promotional origins.
