The fourth installment in the Bring It On franchise follows a predictable Romeo-and-Juliet rivalry romance formula transplanted to a cheerleading camp setting. While the West Side Story homage adds a slight conceptual twist, the execution is largely formulaic with stock characters and telegraphed plot beats. Acting is serviceable but unremarkable for a direct-to-video sequel, cinematography is competent but flat TV-movie quality, and the ending resolves exactly as expected. Novelty gets a modest bump for the self-aware musical-homage concept but ultimately the film is a by-the-numbers entry in a diminishing franchise.
