Destinies intertwined for two antithetical people who meet during a trip to India, where lots of misunderstandings and funny situations will take place.
Natale in India is a typical cinepanettone entry from the early 2000s Italian holiday comedy tradition. The plot is formulaic and relies heavily on misunderstandings, scatological humor, and racial stereotypes rather than genuine wit. Acting is serviceable within the genre's broad comedic style but never transcends it. The Indian setting provides some visual interest and location shooting gives the cinematography a slight boost over the usual domestic entries. Novelty is low as it largely recycles the cinepanettone formula with only a superficial exotic backdrop swap. The ending is predictable and resolves in the expected crowd-pleasing fashion typical of the genre.
