Three years after her relationship with Giovanni, Monica is in prison and has to ask his ex for help.
Like a Cat on a Highway 2 is a Thai comedy sequel that follows Monica navigating life after prison while reconnecting with her ex's circle. The plot is thin and derivative of the first film, offering little new dramatic or comedic ground. Acting is serviceable with some charm from the leads, but cinematography is functional at best with no distinctive visual identity. As a sequel recycling the same comedic dynamics and relationship tensions, novelty is low. The ending wraps things up predictably without much emotional payoff.
